Location
Huis Klippe Drift is situated on the banks of the Klippedrift River in Napier, a rural village in the south of the Western Cape Province in the Republic of South Africa.
The village has limited retail services and the residents rely on Bredasdorp, which is fifteen kilometers away, for shopping, primary health care and banking. The closest private hospital and medical specialist medical care is at Hermanus, which is some 75 kilometres away.
In relation to the home, the nearest shopping facility is 1,5 kilometres away and is up hill all the way. It is difficult for the residents to easily get to the shop, especially in inclement weather. Napier is in a winter rainfall area, so winters are wet and cold and summers are dry and hot.
